Random fantasy literature Author’s Note: A lot of the following is heavily-based on D&D fiction, so if you’re not familiar with it, then you might have trouble keeping up with all the terminology. Also, there's a glossary down the bottom if you need it.

A powerful villain. A “chosen” one who will defeat him. True love. A happy ending.
These are what a classic fantasy story should have.

However, this will almost certainly never be the case. This is a story of a man, not of a brave and bold hero, nor of a weak young lad with an “inner strength” or some mysterious power:
This is the story of the man who failed.

Tattooed into a Werewolf Jayn smiled painfully as the needle pressed into her skin, rapidly moving up and down, biting sharply like a sting. The artist glanced up to her briefly, but knew Jayn could handle the pressure. She had gotten many tattoos over the course of two years, and this one wasn’t nearly as painful as other tattoos. Jayn watched as the needle moved up to the top of her shoulder, and then down over her collarbone, where the pain bloomed even more harshly.

“You sure you’re okay?” Kate asked, stopping for a moment to dab the needle in more black. “The collarbone and the area around it is very sensitive, and I know it can hurt reTattooed into a Werewolf by ~Ketrino
Werewolf part 1 Derek stared in horror as the full moon began to rise before him. “No…” he whispered.
“What’s wrong ?” asked Lisa. “You have to get out of here. Now!” Derek said.
“I d-don’t understand” stammered Lisa.
“You have to listen to me” Derek pleaded “I don’t want you to get hur-NGGHH”  He  collapsed to the ground.
“Oh my gosh, are you oka-” Lisa stopped midsentence.  Derek glared up at her with fierce yellow eyes. “MOVE IT!!” He yelled.
Lisa took a few hesitant steps backward, she was scared now. After one last look at her cringing boyfriend, Werewolf part 1 by ~Rahndom
Werewolf part 2 Lisa ran blindly through the woods.  She was about half way to town now.  As she was running she began to think about Derek.  What was happening to him?  His eyes… they stuck in her mind like a high pitched scream.  They were so different… so menacing.  So frightening.  Trees flew passed in a blur as she picked up her speed.   I have to get back to town, she thought, maybe someone there could help me.  Suddenly, her foot caught a root and she stumbled forward, slamming into the nearest tree, causing her to spin and fall to the ground.  There was a sharp pain in her left shoulder.  Looking over, Lisa could see a fresh cut through herWerewolf part 2 by ~Rahndom
